New to writing. Well not really, more like new to completeing work. Short stories are what I am currently diving into, but I WILL start that book one day!!! I'm a big fan of good horror and dark themes, but really love to read anything that's well written.
I grew up in the late 70's and 80's (am 35 years old)... big fan of Twillight Zone, Dark Shadows, Creep Show, and Outer Limits. Lots of my stories seem to take on a similiar slant--dark and, hopefully, creepy. I'm a child psychologist by day, which is probably why you'll always seem to find a demonic child lurking around somewhere in my narratives. Because of my "academic" and professional background, I enjoy experimenting with family drama and characters involved in various types of realtionships. I was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and now live across the Bay in Oakland. I have a dog, Peet, an Australian Shp., who also pops up from time to time in my stories--usually the OCD, autistic, and socially isolated chap!
