Hi. My name is Tom. In this age of technology, we often hear how easy it is to be "connected". What exactly are we connecting to? It surely is not the planet which gives us life, or nature, which provides its bounty for all to enjoy unhesitantly. Not even to each other, as we see from the endless use of cellular technology to keep us connectedly disconnected. There are many forces at work to keep the human spirit quelled. Many people we trust to be looking out for our best interests, are in fact looking out for theirs. Many products we are told are safe, are not. Many remedies we are sold as effective, are harmful. It really is a crazy place! Writing helps me to get it out of my head.
