After all, is that not what everybody tries to do?

This is a story I have to tell.

I'm not dead yet - I can handle conversations.

As a child, she used to gaze at the sky.

Day by day, until the days end.

Just a casual relationship... or so it seems.

So much can show in a photograph. It invariably shows the past, but sometimes, it tells you the future.

A woman sees her man fighting a war, and it breaks her down.

What happened to her friend that night? Short story I wrote for a contest with the theme Friendship.
