I am 55 years old. I've been married thirty-six years to the same man, which, I'm told, is a true rarity these days. We have a daughter, thirty-five and as son, thirty-three. We also have six grandkids.

I learned I could write in 1992, when, at the age of thirty-nine, I entered college for the first time. I was a straight A English Composition student, something of which I was very proud.

I've lived in New Mexico most of my life except for fifteen years, between 1984 and 1999, that we lived in Missouri. That's a long story that I will have to write about sometime.

While I enjoy some poetry, overall, I don't I don't know the first thing about it and don't really care to learn about it. I write stories. One day would I would like to write a book, if that's in the cards for me. I have to explore that area and decide what I would like to write about. Please don't ask me to read and comment on poetry, because I would hate to hurt anyone's feelings with my lack of knowledge.
