About Me
I'm a 31 year old mother of two who recently had my first novel published. It's been an exciting, but long rollercoaster. I started really writing in high school, some stories here and there, but I really got into writing my senior year as a columnist for the school paper. I'll admit, my columns were a bit one-sided, and rather feministic, but what do you expect. The title of my column for a while was "The Feminisist." I've mellowed out as I've gotten older. I've gotten married, had kids, and still work a day job. My day job is for an orthopedic group in Bend, Oregon as a surgical coordinator. I play surrogate mom to four orthopedic surgeons and some how manage to schedule their surgeries in between. It's a lot of fun, but I certainly look forward to the day where I could stay home and write full-time. In my free time, which there isn't much of, I read John Grisham, Jane Austin, J.K. Rowling, & Dan Brown. I know it's a wide range of genres, but hey, what can I say, I have a wide variety of interests. You should see our movie collection.
