About MeI began my journey as a writer with my first poem for an 8th grade grammar class, writing about soldiers during the Vietnam War. I wrote a lot of poems during my teen years that sparked my love for writing, and has fueled my passion for many years.
I also enjoyed writing plays that my siblings and I would perform for our parents and grandparents. Being the eldest of six children, I was the writer, director and producer of our little productions, as well as the prop maker, costume designer and promoter. My interests in reading vary as well as writing. I enjoy a variety of topics on anything from business subjects to psychological issues from a lay person's perspective, and from short stories to novels. Over the years, my writing took the form of business writing for marketing pieces for various companies I worked with. During my career as Marketing and Sales Director, I wrote and designed just about anything to do with new business promotion. No matter what kind of writing I did, I was happiest when writing and creating. I still have a passion for writing and no matter what kind of writing I do, I am still happiest when writing. When I went back to school several years ago, it reignited my passion for writing with the many research papers I had to write. It doesn’t matter the subject or the amount of research, I just love writing. I wrote in a diary in the early years, and then a journal. I found that the more I journaled, I saw how much my writing served as an outlet for my emotions. This writing became therapeutic for me and I found a passion for all types of writings. Today, whether I am writing for a business client or myself, writing is a part of me that will always remain. |
