About Me
I've been reading since I was very young. It started with my mother. Every other day was a trip to the library, arms full of books like "Where's Spot" and "Scary, Scary Halloween", to take home and read together. As soon as I could read on my own, I grabbed anything I could. When I was a teen, an affinity grew for horror/mystery as written by R.L. Stine, Richie Tankersley Cusick and many others. I could read 3 books a day! As schooIing evolved, so did my reading choices. I favored short stories such as "The Hunger Artist" and "A Rose for Emily", "Dracula" as well as poems like "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". My adult years brought me to Laurell K. Hamilton and Mike Shepherd. I began writing when I was a young teen. Poetry is my favorite; a chance to be free, candid, and short. To evoke emotion and imagination. I dabble in short story writing and fan fiction. I do aspire to write a complete novel within my career.
