About MeLoves of my life after writing are philosophy, the woods, foxes, moths, sound art, film/film theory, butoh, France, Brazil and Japan.
Fascinated by the philosophical movement of "Speculative Realism" Gilles Deleuze, Buddhism and Yogic philosophy. Currently reading: whatever's up on PennSound, Yoga Sutras and the Dharmapada. Was last reading Wayne Koestenbaum's "Hotel Theory" Favorite Authors are Richard Brautigan, Walt Whitman, Henry Miller, Norman Jester and Hu Fang. "A Garden of Mirrored Flowers" is the only adult book I've read published after 1968 that's truly grabbed me. I love reading, so I've been caught in a cycle of re-reading my favorites many times. Would love suggestions! My main writing project is a prose novel set in New Orleans in 1996. Check it out in the fiction section! Alongside that I write nature poetry and philosophical essays. |
