Hi, I am 31 and currently a journalism and literature student at Griffith. I have made some pretty big life changes over the past few years and am now ridiculously optimistic about the future. I feel like I have been rewarded for enduring some rough times by meeting some amazing people and gaining a much wider perspective on the world. I guess this falls in with my general philosophy on life and love... take one brave step towards happiness and it will come ten towards you.

As far as writing goes, I have had a tough year with poetry at uni recently, having been given a lot of negative feedback from a particularly brutal tutor. Hence my confidence could best be described as 'somewhat shaky'. Helpful feedback is still welcomed however... screw it, this is supposed to be fun, right?!
