Laura Heller

I've been writing since I was a young teen, beginning with rhyming poems, progressing to free verse, experimental writing, and prose. Inspiration usually rises from some cultural event, a phrase someone said, or an emotion clinging to me. I have plenty of poetic and writerly ideas, but some are lost before they get on paper or never find finished form. I do aspire publication, be it small local press or in the folds of a literary journal. Constructive criticism is welcome, and I will return the favor. Thanks.
