endless fields, endless skies painted with clouds

skies dot the horizon

days that drag on by
like years
of eventide

setting sun gives way
for the vices of human spirit,
black as the night, to
thrive in the darkness,

crumbling in a late autumn breeze
Defined by its frigid, cruel composure,
Passed soci’ties that fall apart with ease
With dreams fadi..

Hastily, you venture across a deprived meadow and wander amongst broken home's shattered glass . . .

She hovered above a painted rainbow,
out of reach for both
daffodils and baby’s breath alike,
