About Me

the littlest bit about myself i can tell is that i grew up out of texas dirt and successfully made it to colorado. my twenty-ninth year i learned to telemark ski. my thirtieth i learned to climb rocks. my thirty-first i am learning to breath. it's working out well.
i'm the most demented christian person i know, but i believe it's because i refuse to meet very many others.
i like dogs. and jesus. about the same amount.
i do not like disclaimers about biographies or writing.
i like people's real stories, however fucked up.
i do not like when mens' balls are in little jars under the sink.
and i love the pursuit of, above all else, love. see moulin rouge if there are any questions. thank you.

Thanks for reviewing "Christina's Teapot". I appreciate the fact you took the time to read, think, and be honest. Somewhere back in the fogs of time, I was taught to begin each line of simple straight-line poetry with caps. Old habits die hard. Not all of my pieces are written that way for whatever reason I felt it fit this one.

Thanks for reviewing Strawberry Kisses. Rather liked your observations and definately feel that in the next poem I shall avoid all punctuation and see how it stands. Trying to use the site to experiment. I have to say I am not a good poet so the more ideas I pick up, hopefully the better I will become!

Thank you for the review. I honestly didn't like any of the other colours so blue was the choice. Ideally would have looked impressive with a black background and white writing but not on this site. The acrostic parts were really just to give the two of us a break when we were building the poem up as it was quite intense.

Five stars? No lie?

Now that's a compliment. Thanks for reviewing WINGS. I like the sentiment but I'm not confident I've structured it well. I appreciate your encouragement.

Thanks for the review. Interesting comment re: commas. Maybe play around with future offerings and remove them.
