Why do we credit fantasy when the realism here gives us the beauty and interest we could ever wish to see? Ergo, fantasy is not my top genre. I like realistic fiction, however, but it may go overboard...
One of my favorite authors is Edgar Allan Poe. My favorite work of his is The Tell-Tale Heart. Simply because I know how dreaded the feeling of guilt is. The story depicts it very well.
Another author I thoroughly enjoy reading is Michael Crichton. My favorite work of his is Sphere. Truly, a gripping read.
I like writing strange poems and short stories with twists. Writing is not something I am extraordinarily good in (who is?), but I truly do love writing.
