I love to write, mainly poetry but have done some prose, I would love to try my hand at some microfiction. I love to read my biggest passions are true crime, history, Sci-FI, and interesting Bios. One of my favorite story tellers is Shel Silverstein and one of my favorite poets is Robert William Service. I like classics like Poe and Joyce Kilmer and Walt Whitman. If I were to choose a mentor it would be Matsuo Basho, there is a serenity and calm in his writing that most people never experience in life.
