Kevin Ray Cohenour

Hello, my name is Kevin Cohenour (pronounced Ko-iN-Our)
I was born in Shelbyville, TN; but thankfully don't still live there. My family lived in the same house for the first twelve years of my life. I have one sister; she�s three years older than me. My parents divorced when I was twelve and my sister went to live with my dad, so we didn�t see each other much until we were much older. Over the last 7-8 years we�ve become closer than ever, we�re like best friends now. She�s currently in Belgium, with her husband who�s in the service and my two nephews, Devlin and Jared.

I first began writing in High School. I signed up for the school newspaper to be the photographer (still a fun hobby), but quickly learned I liked writing as well. I mean, I don't really care to read a lot which is odd I think for a writer. I like the ability to give someone your feelings and emotions and in words on paper. I also like writing about un real things as well. I started my first novel in my Senior year, 1991. Still haven't finished it. The ones that have read the first three chapters bug me to death to read more, so that makes me feel good.

I fail miserably at punctuation, my poetry isn't really poetry in so much as it doesn't rhyme. They are just thoughts projected onto paper.

When I�m not at work, which is usually 45-60 hours a week, I love to watch movies and occasionally read, I also carry a book with me to work to read on my lunch.

I also play with my new puppy STYX, named after the Egyptian river, not the rock band. He�s a Boston Terrier and I just love him to pieces. I also have two cats, they just do what they want, but STYX �needs� me. The cats Onyx and Isis (also Egyptian) only need me when they need to be fed.
