Words are only the beginning of the story, making them come together...well that's another story.

About Me

I'm a Senior in college and have just figured out my majors and what I may want to do with my life. I'm a double major in English and Creative Writing with a minor in Women's Studies. It's a lot of work, but I love it and I plan on staying in school for as long as possible. (Seriously, I love school.)

I write Young Adult, but am picky about what I read. I enjoy giving constructive criticism, so if you're looking for a yes, okay, great! you might want to keep browsing. I give my honest opinion and suggestions on what to strengthen and what works.

I'll be posting the short stories I work on for my classes as well. I would love constructive criticism on those stories as well as my Young Adult stuff. I finished a rough draft of a novel about a year ago and would appreciate comment on that as I stumble through the editing process.

I like to read short stories and will take on some novels here if I get really into them. I like reading a bit of everything especially if it involves strong, female characters. (Maybe I'll put one little post on here about my thoughts on what that is) I'm a fan of fantasy, especially if it's children's. I don't read poetry and you can ask for a review, but you're not going to get much feedback. I can't tell what's good and what's not.

I end up just talking on these so some random facts about me? I'm a Harry Potter fanatic and love to talk about it. I've taken a Tolkien class and can write Tengwar. I'm a huge Buffy fan now. I love to crochet little animals. I sometimes wonder if I read too much and then decide that it's not possible. I'm a feminist and love to talk about it and have discussions (that may or may not turn into arguments.) Sarah Dessen and John Green are my favorite YA authors.

Hopefully, none of that put you off (if you're still reading.) I'd love to read your stuff and get reviews as well!
