In a quest to provide my eighth gradeELA students with quality reading material, I read everything out there and couldn’t wait to add my voice to the genre. Now I'm debut YA series author of CAMP BOYFRIEND through Spencer Hill Press, I'm thrilled to pen stories that teens can relate to. Additionally, I'm as a debut Harlequin Heartwarming author with my first novel, THE FOREVER WISH, coming out Sept 2013. When I'm not busy writing, I enjoy downloading live versions of my favorite songs (auto-tune is a four letter word twice!!), watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer reruns, trying to moonwalk when playing my Michael Jackson dance game, cooking Nona’s family Italian recipes, training for The Voice (okay- that will never happen- but a girl’s got to dream, right? Does singing in the car count?), scouring estate sales for vintage books and hats, and occasionally rescuing local wildlife from neighborhood cats. I live in the Adirondack Mountain region with my husband, my very appreciated beta-reader daughter and two King Charles Cavalier cocker spaniels who have yet to understand the concept of “fetch,” though they’ve managed to teach me the trick! Hmmmm… wonder how that happened?!
