About Me
From my earliest years growing up in Southeast Texas, I can remember constantly changing my life's focus. I was driven by a deep desire to be "something", but held back by the inablility to be "everything". I have the unique characteristic of being interested in just about every subject imaginable. (With the exception of maybe economics and fashion.) The older I get the more I am apt to title the early chapters of my life "Memoirs of an 'Ologist" You can just coin me the dreamer who never got off the ground.
I migrated to Louisiana when I married my wonderful husband, Joshua. I have a penchant for adventure and travel, but a lack of opportunity to express it. I have a soft spot for the poor, the neglected, and the downtrodden. I spend most of my spare time, sparse as it may be, reading or listening to audio dramas. I don't consider myself a writer by hobby, trade, or talent. I use too many clauses, I am too analytical to be poetic or abstract, and I haven't the effort to put all my thought processes into dispensable literary works. Perhaps that makes be an absorbant bystander, an amateur fan, or a freestyle dabbler in wordology. I may post a few random essays and a poem or two (if I have even two), but mostly I am here to appreciate.
