About Me"My trepidation of things past is not a song with a beginning, middle and end. But an endless symphony playing infinite variations on the same theme. One day of sadness fades into another and the heaviness in my heart will probably always weigh the same. I have destroyed everything around me. Somehow the sun keeps moving across the sky... I don't know why." - joshua deathdealer "This voracious incantation feeds off what remains. This solemn splendor leaves me brittle. Shimmering in astral shame. I am left to sing ignoble ballads. To be fascinated with crimson dreams." - joshua deathdealer "I write for patience. I write for structure. For silence. For sound. I write to mirror the unseen so that I may navigate myself forward and away from the ruins that cling ethereally to my awakening arms." - joshua deathdealer “I cannot exist without you - I am forgetful of every thing but seeing you again - my Life seems to stop there - I see no further. You have absorb'd me. I have a sensation at the present moment as though I were dissolving... I have been astonished that Men could die Martyrs for religion - I have shudder'd at it - I shudder no more - I could be martyr'd for my Religion - Love is my religion - I could die for that - I could die for you. My creed is Love and you are its only tenet - You have ravish'd me away by a Power I cannot resist.” ― John Keats "They cannot scare me with their empty spaces Between stars—on stars where no human race is. I have it in me so much nearer home To scare myself with my own desert places." — Robert Frost "Only the dead see the end of war." - Plato High above this charade of lies A battlefield wages that surpasses mindsets Here the Creator's adoration reaches Past the limbo that captives us To where who we were meant to be resides A place untouched by the atramentous acroamatics Of many centuries of self generated cycles Gently nudging, He is trying to awake the willing Those who haven't forgotten That Angels fly above the sun - joshua deathdealer I have been here awhile and I've come to love this place and call it my poetry home. I've met many dear friends here and think that some of the greatest modern poets are right here on Writers Cafe. Thanks to everyone for your love and support. For those of you who have followed me closely through-out this journey of darkness and into the light. You have become very special to me and I love each and everyone of you. xoxo Also I implore all to help us keep this place beautiful and peaceful for the generations to come. There is a door hidden inside us all. When you find it. Remember that love is the key. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ellen-Rogers-Photography/158502997523479 Comments
