About Me
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jaime Tollefson has been writing poetry since age 12. Jaime's influences include the lyrics of Tori Amos, Edgar Allen Poe, and in general; music. Jaime is inspired mostly by the surrounding nature of the Bay Area and California, her dear wonderful lot of friends, and the extenuating circumstances of pain and heartbreak that occur in hers and everyone's life. Empathetic, passionate, loyal and totally crazy for a good time, Jaime finds life to be the paint for her palette. Dabbling in pastels and collage, Jaime has published artwork, poetry and frequents open mic's where there are no other poets. You will often find Jaime, dancing in her living room. Jaime aspires to publish many volumes of poetry and is currently using this blogosphere to perpetuate an audience. May Benjamin Bryan Tollefson, forever rest in peace.
