Joshua Lobdell

My life is kind of complicated…since I seem to attract all these weird complicated relationships and that professionally I have to be two different sides of a very unique coin. On one hand I am a volume on 11 outspoken sports analyst covered in tattoos who has to project an air of confidence that I am right on any certain sports issue. The flip side of that coin is a much damaged, fragile soul who writes an online journal and poetry to help sort out the mess that is in my own head.

I am a published poet, for the last 8 years I have been a full time sports journalist, and now I am writing a collection of poetry and my first book. I still write a sport rant here and there but right now my focus is on poetry and the book that has been written twice know and is currently being ripped apart by editors.

Past all that I am a single father who lives in the Detroit Suburbs of Michigan and I would bet that I am just your average middle aged guy. Till I go out and make bad decisions that is.
