About Me

I have been writing since I was ten years old but never really wrote poetry until Junior High School. I had a crush on this girl there that essentially became my one and only muse. We had become friends and she started me writing poetry and ever since then I have been writing poetry. My ultimate goal is to beat the 2,000 poems that Emily Dickinson has. She as well as Edgar Allen Poe, Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, Robert Frost, and many other poets whom I have met have all inspired me. I have self published one book called "Dreams of Blues" which were blues themed poems that I had written over the years. Blues for me is a very essential inspiration and continue to grow along those lines. My poetry is not great to me it is sort of childish...I hope that you enjoy my work. Thank you.

Sorry I have taken a little while to respond, but many many thanks for your two reviews of my new poems. Comments like "A terrific read" really make my year. I will get to some of your work soon- unfortunately not much of my time has been donated to this site lately- hope your writing is going well. :)

Sometimes it is good to be confused by art, so that it remains with us... and many times we mull it over for a while before we think, "Oh yes, I see."

Hey Ant! Thanks for reviewing "Rockabilly Fire" I wrote it because as I was on one of my walks to break the writer's block a vision came into my head of me, you and Jake in Las Vegas at the Gold Coast Hotel watching the burlesque dancers and Rockabilly band rip the s**t out of that stage. Then this poem came to me. I reviewed "The Life and Times of Sly Barron". So great and so excellent. Read the review and Jake doesn't hate you. Just read it to get the whole message. Oh by the way I got a "Jack Keuroac" Boxed set that kicks a*s. It is pretty big and has a huge book in it and the three CD's of poetry he recorded in the 50's. I haven't got a chance to listen to it yet but it should be awesome. Anyways just read the review.
