Hi! I am Jim. My training and experiences as an engineer were halted when I was a passenger in a single car accident in 1983. My injuries were severe. After surviving a brain injury, I was in a coma for over 6 weeks; 2 weeks were full coma and the rest was semi-coma. That story is larger, but I want to write about other things. My plans are to display some of my other stories and let people judge me for those. I may write about my injuries later. I am mobile but I have become unable to work because of memory deficits and physical weaknesses and inabilities. I hope people will appreciate my writing in a critical manner. I am poor but I do not need encouragement. : - : Reading was difficult for me since my Traumatic Brain Injury so long ago. I still don't know how I finished my college degree after being in a car wreck and my injuries.It happened when I was still in my first semester at a Regional campus of Kent State Univeresity. Reading was hard for me after that event. I think it was because of my comprehension ability. I had to read and reread many times. Working also became very hard for me to do. But, I did as well as I could. Now I can't because I am older. Sort of like dirt.
