I do not feel totally comfortable labeling myself a 'Writer'. Though I write, writing itself is a beast I have yet to wrangle and tame. Instead, I consider myself a 'wordsmith'. Since I'm not really an originally creative person but am rather skilled at developing and improving a pre-established foundation, I would like to offer my services as a Beta reader to those of you out there who ARE originally creative.

Credentials: I have a B.A. in Journalism and a masters in Secondary English Education.

For those who need more than this to feel confident sharing your writing, I offer this: Besides possessing a firm grasp on English mechanics, I have devoted a significant portion of both my personal and academic lives to studying stories. A film minor in college, I learned to consider all the pieces of a given story in isolation and as a whole. In fact, The Story is probably the only higher power I've ever recognized. Stories make sense where life does not because they, in my opinion, illustrate how life should operate.
