Got Lost In Lagos!

I have recently started writing poetry, and am really just finding my way - messing it up most of the time - but never the less trying!
I seem to be stuck on the dark, poor-me, boohoo emotional stuff at the moment but my aim is to gradually lighten this up and maybe even create something that will make somebody smile.
I would appreciate any feedback at all, whether it is constructive criticism or a total bashing, all is accepted!
