About Me
My life revolves around my doggies (notice they are first ~ ha), my husband, my family, my friends, and basically anything on Seinfeld. I am funny, outgoing, creative, and hyper! I cannot sit still for too long. When I sit in meetings at work, I go nuts. It's torture. I shake my leg constantly like my dad, it's a horrible habit. Should I ever find myself locked in an empty room, I would somehow manage to make myself laugh. Laughing is what helps us live. I am always thinking insane thoughts, like how many people actually get killed in life not by NOT wearing their seatbelt, but by trying to put their seatbelt on while driving! Or what if I could come up with a pillow that stays cold all night long, rather than having to keep flipping it continuously throughout the night? Or if you stare at feet too long they start to look like weird Alien hands! I can say the alphabet backwards faster than anyone. I have an extreme fascination with the Statue of Liberty (since I was a child). I just married the LOVE OF MY LIFE, Christopher McShane. He is truly my best friend and has a heart so big. He still gives me butterflies. I admire him everyday for putting up with my antics. We have been seeing each other since I was 21. We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary on January 3, now beginning our new wedding anniversary of June 2nd. We have two doggies, our sons, Chester Copperpot McShane (named after the character in The Goonies) and Arthur Fonzarelli McShane. They are my top friends on Myspace - friend them, they are precious. Can I tell you what good little boys they are? Chester Copperpot is a Bluetick Coonhound. I get on the floor and act like I'm a dog with him - Chris thinks I'm nuts, but he loves it! We even play hide and seek. Why have a dog if you don't make the most of it? Arthur Fonzarelli is a full breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a wee little guy! He loves to be held and loved. We adopted him and are FINALLY giving him a permanent home, which he deserves. The four of us are one big happy family! We live in Wilmington, Delaware. We bought our first house December 2006. It's a single home, very cute, some cosmetic stuff to be done, but it's been very fun so far. I work for Newspaper Support Services and also do freelance writing. I write personalized poems, flyers, announcements, greeting cards, speeches, even jingles and songs! My work is unique and quite witty. However, I can be quite sappy too! I write purposely for the subject. I get the topic, I give the result! I have ample skills and am willing to share them. I can also do articles and short stories. When it comes to my writing, I am purely hard-working. I accept criticism very well and work hard to perfect all my pieces. My favorite things in life are my family, my friends, ANIMALS EVERYWHERE, and writing. I love anything raspberry! I love the 1980s!*!*! From Sesame Street to Mr. Rogers, I love it all. My childhood was wonderful! I love playing board games, especially Catch Phrase, 80s Trivia, Scrabble, and Cranium. My fears are death, sickness, thunderstorms, flying, and people who wear bowties. Also, both my sister and me ALWAYS check behind the shower curtain when stepping into the bathroom. I hope the day NEVER comes when someone is behind it. I love sunflowers, gerber daisies, and sunshine. I love to buy wine and martini glasses - actually have a sick obsession with it! Also, I love stationary. I love pens, notebooks, paper, markers, etc. I'm a GEEK! I love driving over a bridge when the sun is setting and a great song comes on the radio - windows down, hair blowing, it's the best. But I also love winter and snow! I LOVE Christmas time and my birthday (I celebrate for a week). I miss my dad, who passed away on January 10, 2004. For my wedding, I danced with my uncles to the song, "Wild Horses", by the Rolling Stones in memory of my dad, who, of course, loved horses. I also miss my future father-in-law, Charlie McShane, who was also a wonderful father to me. I miss all of my pets and friends who went to Heaven, especially Grandmom Rucci, Mia, Churchie, Josie, Belle, and my buddy, Mr. Rodia. I pray to them daily. I bombard Chris with the craziest questions in the world, especially when he is trying to fall asleep. I write to the Philadelphia Daily News quite often to speak my mind. The most important thing in my life is that my little sister, Jessica, stay in remission, which I know she will. She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on August 31, 2004 and is doing fabulous. She recently celebrated her 2 year remission. I have done a lot of research on leukemia and am a Lance Armstrong advocate and member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. My sister is my hero! We continue to pray each and everyday for those battling cancer. "So dawn goes down today, nothing gold can stay.........." - Robert Frost
