I'm a 34 year old mother of one and husband to one. I don't think I could handle more than one man to be honest. He drives me nuts as it is. My son is 12 and the joy of my life when I'm not reading or writing.

I have been writing creatively only since last November and I have just finished my first novel "Her Sister's Sacrifice". I am currently revising and really have no real goal as to when I would like to submit for publishing. At this day in the game I am finding there is still very much to learn about getting your work seen, critiqued, and then possibly submitted that I feel I need to get more acclimated before trying. I also have a few short stories I have written and I have looked into getting those published with some smaller creative writing journals.

My biggest weakness is grammar and verb tense. I know this and it is a constant monkey on my back. I try not to get too offended at criticism but I find I do anyway. It's hard not to when you work so hard on something and someone rips it to shreds. I'm getting better, and sometimes I just have to step back for a minute and really think about it.

I am not a published or accomplished writer. I will not be spouting off any excerpts from literary journals or guides. What I can offer you is my perspective as reader. I have been reading fiction so long I swear I was born with a Golden Book pressed between my chubby fingers. I can tell what I think, how it flowed, and whether or not it kept my interest. These to me seem much more important than whether or not that comma was in the right place. I still welcome these kinds of comments due to I need to fix these problems when they are there, just I myself am not the best at them.
