About Me

I enjoy reading, writing and watching movies. There are two adorable cats in our household who give us much pleasure.

i enjoy writing poetry of most kinds, rhyme - open verse - and often anything and everything in between. These poems can be eithe four liners or go on for ages - it depends.

Short story writing is another favourite, and I love writing for children, writing science fiction, adventure stories and am working on a book now about a serial abductor in a small country town.

Apart from that I am married to a wonderful man and we are very happy.

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yule-tide carols being sung by a choir
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey
and some mistletoe
Help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way
He's loaded lots of toys
and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy
To see if reindeer
really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase
To kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said
many times, many ways
Merry Christmas to you.
