About Me

I'm an alum of Hollins University, with a double major in creative writing and history. I'm in the process of applying for my MFA--wish me luck! I love music, tea, knitting, writing, spending time with people, laughing, etc. I'm much more of a prose writer than I am a poet. I notice my writing tends to have a lot of influence from music and travel.

Hello, dear friend. I just put to my "My Love Affair Slovakia" poem a video Yehudi Menuhin playing Hungarian Dances, it fits perfectly. Maybe you want to listen to it.
Have a good time,
Lara

hello, dear,

this is so great you reviewed me.
this is symbolic. Slovakia had been to otomans in the middle age and....later under panslavism......so it s such a country. and that s why I used "turkish pasha"....and the flag .....in eastern europeans history, that real-socialistism aera...everywhere were flags. so....that s why the flag metaphor.
thank you so much,
warm regards,
lara
