About Me

love is a sphere which has its center everywhere, and its circumference nowhere; longing is the compass, always pointing there

To write properly and clear,
Is in part, the goal.
To write simply, and with Heart,
The very Soul.

Not for charm of wit,
The Monkey mind, to impart.
Nay, 'tis Evolution and Change,
That is the real Art!

A word can convey a meaning and change a mind, infused with 'Joy' and 'Love' it can change a Heart and thats forever!

Heartfelt words of magic, igniting Grace to action. Where words are imbued with potential, acting as agents of change. The Heart forever voyages, longing its compass, always going hOMe!

by the time you read this, the ripples of my imagination will have merged with your eyes as pixels on the net ... peeling through the layers of impressions, old and new, until we speak from naked Hearts; merged within the carved words here are my memories, my perceptions interpreted. Regurgitated, spent. Spilled reveries emerging in time!

By the time I have carved my words to hold the image of my realization, you will have to be a breaker of moulds, an iconoclast, to release it; otherwise it is religion with its dead forms and rituals ...

In the light of Cosmic time, both great and small are extinguished by that infinity, yet it remains important that we create, explore and evolve with the courage of a Loving Heart.

What is the 'sound' your naked Heart makes? A Mystic would say, 'Awe' ...

I am learning new tricks here while my synaptic pathways are degenerating. Stars I see Stars ...

Einstein, the great scientist, used to imagine, If you are sitting in the front of a light wave, what would you see? What would you be?

a Naked Heart; AWE!

included photos taken through a camera with my eye for a sight

Love Up!

Neither the voice that speaks shall have your Heart
nor can you hear that uncommonest of tongues;
... for the language of the Soul is silence ...
You shall know when you have been unspoken,
you will feel it Divine!
Peace is that wordless cry ...

Man is what he loves.

If he loves a stone he is a stone;

If he loves a man he is a man;

If he loves God--I dare not say more,

for if I said that he would then be God,

ye might stone me!

-- St. Augustine

We become what we Love, Love Up!

I must admit I've only seen a bear in the zoo never in the wild. That must be a wonderful experience. Thanks as ever for your wondeful review.

Gosh, I am so flattered that you are working through my poems. Its a big boost to the ego. Delighted you think I have brought clarity to my portrait of Crackington Haven Beach. Its a place I know well and am extremely fond of. Cornwall is a magical sort of place so it is easy to wax lyrical about it. Fairy Fields was also inspired by Cornish landscape so its interesting that you allude to the Kings of the Celtic legends.

I love your description of the animal totems representing kinship with Nature and the Frog Clan. There has to be a poem there especially tied in with the chemicals used on the land. Im glad that you liked Beautiful in Black. Ideally I think it would be nice if everyone loved one another. I guess thats what my Woodland Idyll is trying to say. And that all love should be celebrated. While I enjoy writing in form sometime because I find it challenging I agree the pieces dont flow so easily. Not that I dont revise and revise again no matter what Im writing. But I agree that in pieces like Stream they have to fit within a far more rigid pattern. Nonetheless, hopefully the challenge should improve my writing. And I want to push myself as much as possible.

If you enjoy my writing maybe you would like to take a look at my daughters. She has actually been writing longer than me and inspired me. I think shes an incredible writer and she is one of my favourite poets on site.
