About Me
I have a master's degree in creative writing from Texas Tech University and a bachelor's in journalism from Texas A&M University. (I spent more than 15 years as a newspaper features writer and editor before returning to school for my master's.) Currently, I teach writing part-time at a small New England college. I have completed a collection of essays and I'm trying to find an agent and/or publisher for them. I've also begun writing a novel tentatively called, "Growing up Dead in Texas." My work has appeared in So to Speak, a feminist journal of language and literature. I live just north of Boston with my husband and two kids.
