I guess my current status would be 'Struggling Writer'. I've been blocked for a few years now, the easy flow of fiction from my fingertips that I enjoyed in my youth has dried to a trickle these days, so I'm here (by the chance direction of a dear old friend) as part of an attempt to rekindle the creative fires (if I may so egregiously mix my metaphors).

My style is varied, but I like any work that leaves a strong emotional effect, be it sadness, laughter, or the lingering unease of a finely wrought horror story. I also appreciate purely aesthetic writing: rich descriptive work and rhythm. If I can get all of the above from the same piece, then we're really onto a winner.
