About Me

I'm a teenager. I live somewhere in the vastness of Texas, your guess as to where. I love writing, obviously. I prefer fiction over other genres, though I do occasionally dabble. Oh, and I'm AMAZING!

As of this moment, I am editing some of my stuff before I upload it, so if you're wondering why there's nothing here, that's why. It will also take quite a while to get most of my stuff up on here too, because I don't really have that much spare time. I'll do it as quickly as I can.

As for the rest of my bio:

I was born. Ha! Six years later, I go to Pre-K, progressing year after year up one grade level. I'm not a straight-A student, but I'm not stupid either. I'm just a little lazy. (I'm working on not being as lazy though!) I started playing piano in 1st grade, still am, and I'm quite proficient now. I also play French Horn and Bass Guitar (Along with a more unknown instrument called a mellophone, which is what french horn players play during marching season. It looks like a trumpet on steroids). I listen to Rock, Alternative, Jazz, Classical, Heavy Metal, Blues, Reggae, and Ragtime. Rap IS NOT music, NEVER WILL BE, and HAS NO POINT. Thus I do not listen to it. I also like musicals, especially Phantom of the Opera (mainly because the music is AWESOME!).

I'm a big gamer, and I have an XBOX 360 and a PS2, along with my old N64. I love to play RPG's (role playing games), especially a few of the Final Fantasy titles, like FF7, FF10, FF10-2, and FF12. I also mildly enjoyed Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus (which is more of a quasi first-person shooter, in that you could see Vincent while you were shooting), though it didn't deliver much in certain aspects of gaming. Another game of note is Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. It is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. (The best being FF7, FF12, and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess [on Wii]). By the by, I was referring to PS2 games back there (except where noted). I also thoroughly enjoyed Mass Effect on XBOX 360, and am looking forward to it's sequel. Now, all this doesn't mean I don't like FPS's (First person shooters). Because I am a Halo nerd. Halo 3 rulez!!! Yeah, anyways, I (for the most part) like first person shooters similar to Halo. TimeShift is also a fairly good game. Some other good/great titles (disregarding platform and genre) are GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, Bully, Okami (Which is in my top five favorite games of all time), Kingdom Hearts 2, Assassin's Creed, Halo, Halo 2, Call of Duty 4, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Enough of that, I'll move on to something else.

No writer can go without reading. It's just not possible. Reading is key to success in writing, I think. I, for one, love reading. I don't think I've ever gone for a week without reading something. Thus said, I have read many many many books. Due to this reason, I cannot remember them all and will tell you the ones I can remember, along with the author, for reference purposes. Here goes:

Books such as The Black Tattoo (Sam Enthoven); Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkein); Deerslayer (James Fenimore Cooper); Here, There Be Dragons (James A. Owen); all the Harry Potter books (J.K. Rowling); Octavian Nothing (M.T. Anderson); the Alex Rider series (Anthony Horowitz); The Chronicles of Chrestomanci volumes 1 and 2 (Diana Wynne Jones); All 16 books of the Redwall Series (Brian Jaques); The Cabinet of Curiosities (Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child); Digital Fortress, Angels & Demons, and The DaVinci Code (Dan Brown); the Spy High series (A.J. Butcher); Pendragon: The Merchant of Death (D.J. MacHale); the Cirque Du Freak series (Darren Shan); and Cryptonomicon (Neal Stephenson). Last, but most certainly not least, two books that rocked my world, Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. The first two books in the Inheritance cycle. Not a trilogy anymore. A cycle.

Yeah. Nice.

That's pretty much it, y'all. (There's some Texas culture for ya!)
