About Me

Hello, names Jasmine. I am very much in love with the art of writing. Its really the only way I'm able to channel my voice and expression without feeling a hinge of doubt or hesitation. I'm a sort of avant garde type of individual, yet i'm studying to be a corporate lawyer. I attend a school in the financial district of New York, but going to Bard College this Fall.

The truth within your consciousness is like the horizon that recedes before you. As you journey towards your inner quest in the direction of the leading edge of your belief acceptance. And your knowledge and understanding of the prevailing path grows, the next ascending possibility will always beckon you forth. For wisdom brings together within the truth of your existence, your souls essence, in which is attained by your own experience. Pursue your goal of achieving the truth within your reality of consciousness, in the most direct manner. The paradox is of course, is that you are both the voyager and the pathway; the treasure that you seek is most often slumbering within you or undeveloped in your quest. Its always within you and has always been and always will be. It has not been hidden from your sight, for the most part, its likely you have hidden from it, so wake it up, face it, and accept it, than use it, by becoming it.

Peace
by Sara Teasdale

Peace flows into me
As the tide to the pool by the shore;
It is mine forevermore,
It ebbs not back like the sea.

I am the pool of blue
That worships the vivid sky;
My hopes were heaven-high,
They are all fulfilled in you.

I am the pool of gold
When sunset burns and dies, --
You are my deepening skies,
Give me your stars to hold.

Hey, thanks for the reviews. I've been at the beach. Nice and blazing hot out there. Got to get out of here again, so I'll check out more of your stuff tomorrow.

There used to be a help message that explained how to recover writings. If you have a saved copy you can restore the reviews that were posted with it. I just re-posted the writings I had saved.

I'm sorry I'm not more help. I'm technologically deficient most days.

I've been squeezing for 2 months soon but you're right, if I try hard enough I'll break the block. Only problem is that I have too much fun during the days and in the evenings it's the European Cup (Soccer).

Nice to meet you Araujo, how's life in the big Apple? I've never been in a city larger than Kopenhagen :( maybe that's why I write... anyway, nice to meet you

I do my best to entertain... Nice piece. I would have said more, but I'm just beginning to read poetry and I'm a little lost. But I definitely liked it.
