Jim Heiney

I've been married for almost 20 years now to a wonderful woman and have a nine-year old son. I've been writing on and off since high school but lacked the discipline to really write until I got a full time real job. Now I juggle work (not too hard) and my son and try to find time to write in the interstice. I'm an IT guy for a state university. I run the servers and solve (usually) problems for my end users.

I love speculative fiction and humor. Right now I am in more of a horror phase, but some fantasy, sci-fi and steampunk creeps in every now and then.
