Things could have been different, and if things were different, I certainly would've been.

Disclaimer: I am much more mentally stable than my characters. They are /characters/. Personal experiences can influence my writing, but there is a point where the character and the writer diverge!

My writing can be petty and full of cliches, but it also varies depending on my mood. Sometimes I write stories in high fantasy that have absolutely nothing to do with me. Sometimes it's the opposite.

Some of my pieces deal with themes of gender and sexuality that may be uncomfortable or not politically normative. I respect you as a person and as a reader and I hope you will respect me as someone who recognizes that not everyone is tolerant and that reality is something that can and should be expressed in fiction without being criticized for being intolerant or oppressive in nature.

I am a big fan of freedom of speech and expression, discourse, and open dialogue. I'll probably respond to most respectful questions.
