I wrote my magnum opus in the third grade, an exhaustive research report on the lilac. I enjoyed writing fiction, poetry, and personal essays throughout my college years and have been published multiple times in various local newspapers. After several years of writing in a scientific, academic environment, I've returned to Writer's Cafe to refresh those skills and pursue a lifelong dream of writing for pleasure and inspiration.
