a soft twist of cotton threads,
while I sucked on my fingers,
the middle, and ring,

The past is fasting
Awake at 2:16 a.m.
Before it did not know
Consequence
In a bleary dream
Shuffled songs on repeat
Scattered and heading..

Be kind to your mother
|

General soreness
|
|
The dry wing of a fallen fly
Lay on checkered tiles,
Evidence it was alive
And airborne, swerving high spirals.
Wilted,
The wing is swept
Like..

I looked up and saw her
|
