Writing the Comic and Graphic Novel Forum Hello / why im here

Hi everyone, My name's Patrick and I'm a hopeful aspiring writer from California. the reason I joined this group is because I'm currently writing a "Steam punk" themed graphic novel and i figured this would be a good place to get some advice.
Mostly I'm trying to put together a design team to help me work on it since its an original story and from what I understand most publishers want samples of completed pages including artwork. Which bring me to the big question, which is where i can find an artist who might be willing to work for free until the project is finished and we get published.

I don't know if any of you might know of any good sites were i can network with undiscovered comic artists, or if any of you might be interested in hearing more about my project should you be an artist and are interested.

Either way i do appreciate your comments.

I'm an undiscovered artist, but I'm busy writing my own comic :/  I honestly don't know where you can find them.  Deviantart has a ton of artists, whether or not they'd work, I dunno.
