Writers Block Forum Characters ISO story

Hi, I'm stePH. I'm writing a thing about a nerdy high school loner who finds his tribe with a group of fellow gamer nerds. I think I'm pretty good at writing their interactions and conversations, but apart from having them play games together I don't know where to take the story. I've just posted my first chapter, which is about half of what I have written so far. Also my protagonist is in a newly blended family, his father having just married a Japanese woman with two teenage girls one and two years older than him, and they are among the most popular girls at his school. There's high drama potential there, I just can't seem to tease it out. Any ideas? I see the stepsisters joining their brother and his friends in their gaming, but apart from that I'm dry.
