Poems are one of my top favorites! I like to write books, but never have enough time. Over Summer Break I might! What is yours?

My favorite types of writing are poems and short stories because you can say a lot with a little. A few verses can say so much more than a few chapters even if you are great at writing.

Poetry, and horror.

my favorite thing to write used to be poetry but lately, i've been working with stories more often. Poetry is what i use to vent and share my emotions mostly, but stories allow me to really be creative and i love it when i'm overwhelmed with ideas for a story. To address my opinion on the other option, books, i wish i could finish one, usually i end up worrying about the chapters not tieing together well or i get writers block and can't think of any ideas so books end up being really stressful to me.

Yeah, I don't think I could handle writing a book. I

a. Don't have enough time

b. Am too lazy

c. Don't have any original ideas

That's why I like writing poems; They're easy and quick!

For me, it's definitely books.  Even if I think of something that starts as a short story, the entire world starts developing in my head and it just keeps going, and going . . . .

I'm terrible at poetry.  I have no eye or ear for it whatsoever, and I'm the first to admit it.  *laughs*
