Write = Get Reviews Forum I Will Review Your Work

Hey everyone!

I'm new to WritersCafe, but I'm not new to writing. I'm 25, so I've been writing for a while, and I wouldn't mind reviewing some work. If you're looking for someone to review your work, please post here!

Also, if you post, PLEASE let me know what experience you have with writing (beginner, intermediate (a few years), advanced (more than 7 years)). This is important, because it will help me determine at what level I should review your work. If you say you're an advanced writer, I will give you an advanced review. If you're a beginner, I don't want to give you an advanced review and basically destroy all of your confidence as a writer.

As a reviewer, I would like to help build you as a writer, not make you cry because I gave you a harsh review. I will be honest, but I will not insult you or your work. If you disagree with me, that's perfectly fine. Just remember that in the end it's your writing, so it's up to you to decide what you want to put on the paper. I'm not a professional writer or anything; all I have going for me is a lot of writing experience, so take everything I say for what it's worth.

Hello! I would also really appreciate a review. I only posted a prologue to my first story so far ("The Mirror"), but I already wrote a lot more. I'm just really not sure about my story, so I would greatly appreciate a review to know whether I should continue what I'm writing at the moment, or use my ideas in a different story. Hey, I recently posted something with the intention of getting reviews from people who knew what they were doing. It is the first draft of the outline for the stage play I'm working on. I don't have a name for it yet, but, especially if you know much about stage plays, I would really appreciate it if you could take a look. Shouldn't take too long.

Hey, I have begun working on drafts for my play, now. I will be posting excerpts from the play (in chronological order) as they are written, about two or three scenes at a time. I am posting specifically for reviews, so I would absolutely appreciate it if I could get some opinions from you! To clarify (according to the requests you made in your forum), I am a junior in high school and have been writing since the third grade, starting with short stories. I am well-versed in literature, and though time-wise I am inexperienced, only having been writing for maybe twelve years tops, I have often been told that I am better than my years suggest. You can be the judge of that. Also, this is the first stage play I will have finished, though I did attempt one before. That being said, I have still deemed this my best literary work thus far, but would still like as many critiques as possible.

Also, I will be sure to check out our work. I've noticed you've done a lot of poetry. I am a poet myself, though I must say that this is the area I am least experienced in. I have had a lot of success with my poetry, but there are also other works that ended up being absolute flops. But I will do my best if I have any advice!

Unfortunately I've been a bit busy lately, so I haven't had as much time. After finishing up with those who have posted already (which may take a little while), I'll be taking a break from reviewing for a bit. I'll post again when I'm ready to start reviewing again.
