First Poem I ever wrote

Violence

Come, come children, come and learn from us

How to kill a man for no real cause

Take a seat children, this will not take long

Let me quickly show you how this is done

Some may cry “violence!” We call it peace

Shoot the women, kill the kids

Take their homes, take their freedom

Drop the bombs, end and destroy the entire nation

Don’t you worry children, this is you mission

There is no violence, just execution

Pull out your guns, toss out the grenades

Pile the bodies; leave them to dig the graves

Oh children, fear not your mutilated body

Pray for no gods, hope for nothing holy

Blood will drip, wounds won’t heal,

Come children is time to kill.

Hear now children, praises will fall with each bullet case

Watch while life fades away, with pain stamped on the face

This is what you must do children, kill!

This is not violence…… We call this peace.
