Write = Get Reviews Forum Read and Review: Any Will Do

I am new to Writers Cafe and would love some reviews on my recently posted work. It is just a prologue but I am very adamant about my work. I'd like to know if it is eye catching. Does it make you want to keep reading? Is it too bland? Are there any irregularities in plot so far? I would also like to say hello to my fellow writers!

I'm Frannie and I'm from Michigan. I am currently a college student and am working on my first novel. It is a fantasy novel, or perhaps urban fantasy would be more accurate? It is an honor to be among fellow writers here and I look forward to reviewing and being reviewed!
