While undoubtedly there won't be Forum These are valid points, especi..
These are valid points, especially regarding3 Years AgoI'm really keen to get back into this game, it's the only game of it's kind that I've ever been able to get immersed into and have RuneScape gold fun with friends I came across along the way. Although I hope I can, I still want to be aware of the situation. Okay, I know that I have broken the rules for my account before. I have given it away after I was sure I was done with the game. Recently, I attempted to get it back. Jagex has not responded to me. I've emailed Jagex several times. The email address registered to the account (which was mine) was altered more than a decade time ago. Therefore, it is expected that I should not receive any email. Today, however, legal (at jagex dot.com sent me an email. They informed me that they have evidence that I traded my Runescape accounts or other items in person. Yes, I've done this. (By the way, I have never purchased anything. It's not that important, I'm just wanting to inform people that that I'm not smart enough to do that) They told me they would watch my account, and should it be found to be inactive it would be subject to an action for. Signed by Jagex MOD Mark. (thought that was an unusual signet) It made me feel cozy. Now, here's where the story starts to become a little bizarre. You will receive an email inviting you to sign into your account. I was not able to log in. I just don't see why people set content-related goals in this game, it has poor content in reality. If you're not a fan of the quest, but with 70+ skills you can easily have a quest cape. This takes relatively only a few hours. I think adding more difficulty to the game is a mistake. Most updates only make it harder. It is easy enough already to play, all you require is time. Dungeoneering can be considered a "skill", but it is not an actual ability. It is dependent on the other four players' abilities. Jagex can raise the the amount of exp per hour for solo dungeoneering to 350k to become more of an skill-skill. Post could have been an unorganized mess of thoughts, but my main argument is that if you eliminate the grind you remove the majority of the game. To be more specific I think runescape does not have a excellent endgame other than personal achievement. If you don't get the achievement, you take out runescape tbh. These are valid points, especially regarding the elimination of large chunks of content and the need for big goals for content. While it was feasible to complete all quests once it wasn't, that is no longer true. Quests are my motivation to increase skills. This is important because I have observed a significant improvement in the skills I need to build them. The quest cape requires the following skills: 76 defense, constitution, mining crafting and OSRS buy gold woodcutting, the ability to attack and strength, as well as 80 magical. The smithing skill is 74. Firemaking and thieving. |
