From Salvatore Buttaci RE: DRAGO16 Years AgoDear Friends,
After sweating it out and praying my short story "Drago" would make it to the final selection, I just learned in the e-mail below it has been accepted for an upcoming dragon anthology. I also learned a few days ago my story "Wayne" will be included in The Innocence of Children, due out soon. And to top it all off, I have poems in the upcoming release of a Baby Boomer anthology.
I wanted to share my joy with you.

If you do not receive your paperwork by November 15th, please email us and let us know. We don't want anyone lost in the mail.
We are expecting a summer release for the anthology.
Congratulations again!
Sincerely,
James Ferris
Note: The selection process was not an easy one due to the number and quality of the submissions. Much time and effort went into the deliberations.

[no subject]16 Years AgoThanks for your kind words. It's so much fun to write and re-write a piece, but it's nail-biting anxiety as one waits for news of acceptance or rejection. We learn from the experience either way. And I believe it's the responsibility of every writer to encourage other writers to put aside the fear of submitting work. I had that fear but my father would always remind me, "Even if you're not the fastest runner, you stand a better chance of winning than those faster than you who quit."
