West Virginia Writers And Poets Workshop Forum I AM IN A MOVIE

I made it to the front page of our local newspaper The Bluefield Daily Telegraph today, Monday, August 24. I am in a movie called Grandfathers Pawn which is filming in our city of Princeton, WV.  I play the cue-card guy Barry, a speaking part in four or five scenes.  We worked at it all weekend and we'll continue in September.

Acting in a movie has been one of my "things-to-do-before-the-end-when-no-thing-gets-done-anymore"!  I am running out of dreams.

In August they filmed the four scenes I'm in.  I have one more scene to do and that will be later this month or early next month.  I play the part of Barry, the cue-card holder.  The movie is called Godfathers Pawn and is being filmed in Princeton, WV, our city here.

It was on my list of "things to do before I go meet my Maker."  I studied drama in college, did some acting but mostly writing and directing educational plays.  This adventure was fun.
