Underground Writers Network Forum Stories and Worldbuilding

Hello, I'm relatively new here so I'm still getting the hang of the site. But I have a problem. For quite a few years now, I've been trying to write stories that revolve around a setting rather than characters or plot. I've heard certain stories described as having the setting being the main character, but I've failed to be able to emulate it. I realize that this is on the more experimental side of things, but it's still something I'd really like to do. Thanks.
