Hi guys! My name is Jane.

I thought this might be a great place for everyone to introduce themselves and promote their stories. Also, because I'm on break at the moment and I want some fantasy stories to read and review!

So reply below and include your name and a piece of writing you want to promote!

I'm also a huge Tolkien fan and his work has really influenced my writing. I find his descriptive imagery and use of the quest narrative to be my favourite features of his texts. My novel embodies both of these aspects, but in a low-fantasy context.

So, my book is about a girl named Thea, who steps into a fairy circle. Her whole world changes. Well, it doesn't change - it shrinks. She finds herself travelling with a cursed Cane toad and a narcissistic wood nymph in search of the First fairy magic.
