Easy Thumbnails Photo resizing tool17 Years AgoEasy Thumbnails is a great program for resizing any picture. Due to most cameras today taking images large enough to make wall size images, this tends to take up hard drive space on our computers. Resizing them to 1024 x 768 not only compresses the image, but frees up disk space. You can increase a picture in size, or decrease its size. A warning though, if you increase an image too large it will become pixilated. Here’s a link to it and it’s freeware (You don’t have to pay). Below is how you use it. Easy Thumbnails Left click twice on icon to open In the Look In window use the scroll bar to locate the folder containing the picture SPECIAL NOTE: I use a folder I created called Working that I use only for resizing. Once I've resized the picture I re-locate it to another folder. Once you've located the folder click on it and the image, or images will appear in the window below it. Click on the settings tab to adjust the width and height you want by typing them in Use the arrow by the Resize window and select Stretch to fit I find this is the best option to use Now click on the Files tab and highlight the picture you want resized Then click on Make for one picture, or Make All if you're doing more than one Click OK when it appears You'll find the resized picture in the same folder as the original except it will have a tn_ in front of it. You can right click on the image and select rename, then rename it anything you desire |
